St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Those who attended the St. Patrick's Day Celebration experienced a lot of green and a lot of fun! The Irish trio entertained us all with traditional Irish music and the corned beef and cabbage as well as all of the other food was delicious! Along with St. Patrick's Day, we celebrated the 175th birthday of the Relief Society and Mary Esther received a lot of "gifts" representing its history.

Thanks to everyone who brought food, cooked corned beef, helped to decorate or just came. There were about a hundred people in attendance, including a number of visitors. If you missed this one, please attend the next; it's a great way to get to know the people in the valley and to enjoy one of the benefits of living in a small community.

Valentines Day Party

The Valentine's Day party was enjoyed by all who attended. There were great people there to get to know, games to play, and lots of delicious Valentine's Day Desserts. A few brave attendees even took to the dance floor. Here are a few pictures from the event:

Signs of Spring or Nature Teasing?

After the rain last night, we could see the grass starting to green and daffodil and tulips peeking through the wet soil. It looked like spring might be trying to make an early appearance, but apparently nature was just kidding--spring only lasted a few hours before winter came again :)
