Shame on Drone Operators!


So, twice yesterday aerial firefighting operations were suspended because of drones.

Shame, shame, shame on those who jeopardized our homes!
Makes me think of the words...  (dare I say it?)...  Domestic Terrorism.

Thank you to all the wildland firefighters spending the night west of town!  I see what looks like at least EIGHT busses of heroes.

They are working hard to save our properties.

Table Top Exercise

Pine Valley residents trained in CERT or any who want to learn more about Emergency Response might be interested in the following message from Doug Burns:

Come to a special Table Top exercise on June 23 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Emergency Services office (197 E. Tabernacle St.).   Practice your CERT skills and have fun doing it.  Okay, I am reading your mind right now, this exercise is right during dinner. Yes it is. So, we will be providing dinner. Dinner and a chance to mingle with other CERT members.

Pine Valley Heritage Day, July 30, 2016


The 2016 Pine Valley Heritage Day scheduled for Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 10 am thru 3 pm at the Pine Valley Heritage Center.  Food, entertainment, displays, and crafts are on tap. It is always a lot of fun and you will learn more about the valley and its rich history. Come and enjoy a beautiful day with friends at the Heritage Center.

Volunteers Needed to help at Heritage Center


Dixie Arizona Strip Interpretive Association (DASIA) is seeking interested volunteers to help operate the Pine Valley Heritage Center during the summer season.  The Center is open from 10 am to 5 pm Mon thru Sat from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  We especially need help on Saturdays.  If you are able to assist, please contact

Recycle Bins are Here!

If you have stopped by the dump lately, you would have noticed that the recycle bins have been placed and are ready for use. There are bins for metal, for plastic and for paper just waiting for us to fill them.
