Planned Power Outage, October 10 at 9:00

There will be a scheduled power outage for Pine Valley on October 10^th at 9 a.m. to complete the work on the new line that has been built in Pinto Canyon.  The estimated time for the outage will be 4-5 hours.

Since the June Grass Valley/ Pinto Canyon fire impacting many pole structures and power lines, Dixie has been working very hard to replace much of the destroyed and other structures with significantly improved facilities that benefit all of the Pine Valley area. 

September 24--first snow of the season

We knew it was going to be cold, but I think a lot of us were surprised to see snow this morning! Our park looks like a snow garden.

Fuel Reduction to Save Homes

Earlier this summer, the forest service and others met with community members to get their input on a plan that would reduce fuel around the valley with the aim of preventing large fires and also to preserve homes in the event of fire.
