On Saturday, November 25 Pine Valley residents gathered east of the old church to watch the lighting of the nativity and surrounding
area. There were somewhere around a hundred people in attendance. We heard
some comments from Bob Dalley, sang Christmas carols led by Vicky Hickman and
then listened to a beautiful rendition of “Oh Holy Night” by Marlie Root. As
she sung about the stars brightly gleaming, the lights were turned on. It was
such a beautiful way to introduce the Christmas season.
